Aniplex in collaboration with the Japanese developer Type-Moon have announced the remastered version of PS2/ Vita title “Fate/Stay Night Realta Nua”.
This visual novel was originally released in 2007 (PlayStation 2) and 2012 (PS Vita) and the remaster version is part of the celebration for the 20th anniversary of the saga (Fate/Stay Night was released in 2004 for PC, the console ports are missing the adult contents).
The story focuses on a young mage named Shirou Emiya who becomes a warrior in a battle between “Servants” known as the Holy Grail War. Shirou bonds with a heroine through each route and confronts different adversaries participating in the war.
There are three main plot lines that the player will have the chance to experience, one for each of the heroines in the story. To view all three plot lines, the player must replay the game multiple times and take different choices during the decision points to progress the plot in an alternate direction.
Fate/stay night REMASTERED, this is the complete title, will feature an enhanced HD graphics and will be released worldwide this year for Switch and PC with support for the English language.
