Exactly one year after the release of the volume 1, Taito is planning to release a new compilation of games for their mini console, Egret Mini II.
Egret Mini II is a portable mini console with a rotating screen, originally released on March 2022, and reproducing their arcade system which was used through the 90s in the arcade centers all around the country.
The rotating screen allows vertical shoot’em up to be played in their original form while an expansion with trackball and 10 games included allowed Arkanoid and Arkanoid 2 to be played in their original form.
At the end of 2022 the first expansion set of games was released, bringing the total number of playable titles to 50 (or 60 in case of owning the Paddle & Trackball set), and this December the total amount will be expanded to 60 (or 70) with the release of Arcade Memories vol.2.
The new compilation includes the following titles :
– Return of the Invaders (vertical shoot’em up, 1985)
– Wyvern F-0 (vertical shoot’em up, 1985)
– Wardner (side scrolling action, 1987)
– Operation Wolf (gun shooting, 1987)
– Thundercade (vertical shoot’em up, 1987)

As for the volume 1, this release will also include a 32 pages Guidebook, mini instruction cards for all the 10 titles and a set of stickers.
