Today Taito has announced an expansion set for its dedicated mini console, Egret Mini II, to be released on 22 December : Arcade Memories vol.1
In total there are 10 games, fit into a SD card, which expand the available games on the system to 50 (or 60 if you have the Paddle & Track Ball set) :
– Great Swordsman (action, 1984)
– Golden Sword (fighting, 1986)
– Slap Fight (shmup, 1986)
– Daisenpuu (Twin Hawk in the West) (shmup, 1989)
– Pu.Li.Ru.La. (action, 1991)
– Grid Seeker (shmup, 1992)
– Riding Fight (action, 1992)
– Light Bringer (Dungeon Magic in the West) (action, 1993)
– Gekirindan (shmup, 1995)
– Cleopatra’s Fortune (puzzle, 1996)
The Arcade Memories vol.1 will also include a strategy book, Dengeki Taito Station vol.2 (A4 size, 32 pages) and 10 arcade style instruction cards, one for each game included in the collection, which can be put over the Egret Mini 2 to resemble the original arcade cabinet.
