Today Superdeluxe publisher updated the release list in their “Super Deluxe Games” series by adding DoDonPachi Resurrection for Switch.
Originally released for arcades in 2008 and ported to Xbox 360 in 2010, DoDonPachi Resurrection was rereleased on Switch in digital form in 2021.
This version includes 8 different gameplay modes, including the Novice Mode for beginner players and an Arrange Mode; the updated version of the game, labeled ver. 1.5 and known as “Black Label” is also included and for skilled player or who wants to enjoy the game as it was in the original arcade form, the screen can be set in vertical position.
As usual for the “Super Deluxe Games” series, DoDonPachi Resurrection will come in a first print limited edition which includes a special cardboard box with a foil banner, a mini magazine, the rearranged soundtrack on CD, a special trading card and a booklet (this one also available in the normal version).
DoDonPachi Resurrection will be released on 28 September and will support the Japanese and English languages.
