SEGA has showed new details for the upcoming spin-off game in their “Yakuza” series : Like a Dragon Gaiden : The Man Who Erased His Name, starring Kazuya Hiryu and showing what happened to him between the events seen in Yakuza 6 and Yakuza : Like a Dragon.
As usual there will be a lot of mini games available, from Darts Machine, with new shaped darts such as rose or forks, to Pocket Circuit, where you can buy a pocket car and joining races or upgrade your vehicle by buying new parts; there is also the Karaoke, a classic for the series, although most of the attention will be paid to the Cabaret Club and their 5 live-action models.
But the biggest news is about the Arcade Center which let the player to enjoy not only some classic SEGA games from Master System era, Galaxy Force and Flicky among them, but also 2 games originally released on Model 3 arcade system, Fighting Vipers 2 (which has been ported only to Dreamcast) and Daytona USA 2, for the first time released on console, even if the version available is renamed as Sega Classic Racing due to copyright rights expired since the release of the official game (1998).
Like a Dragon Gaiden is planned to be released on 9 November for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, unlike the West in Japan the game is released also in physical form and support for multi-language (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian) text while the English audio will have a future release as a patch.
