Cannon Dancer is an arcade action game released in 1996 by Mitchell.
Known in the West as “Osman” it was developed by many former Capcom staff, including Kouichi Yotsui who also directed the arcade version of Strider, and from which it takes inspiration so much that it can be considered an unofficial sequel.
Set in a futuristic neo-cyberpunk Arabian setting, Dance Cannon features Kirin as main protagonist, a buy who fights without any weapon.
Today through Konami‘s partner page set for Tokyo Game Show 2022, ININ Games announced that the game will be published as physical package for both Switch and PlayStation 4 in 2023, marking the first home console port after its original release in the 90’s.
