Today Superdeluxe Games have announced that Castlevania Anniversary Collection will be finally published in Japan after the Western release published by Limited Run Games in 2021.
This collection includes the first chapters in the almost 40th anniversary series: Castlevania, Castlevania II and Castlevania III published on Famicom/NES, Super Castlevania IV published on SFC/SNES, the 2 episodes released on Gameboy (Castlevania The Adventure and Castlevania II Belmont’s Revenge), Vampire Killer published on Megadrive and the spin-off Kid Dracula released on Gameboy.
As usual for Superdeluxe Games products, a Deluxe version is also planned and will include:
– original cardboard box
– reversible jacket (available also in the regular edition)
– a booklet “History notes” (available also in the regular edition)
– Bonus book
– a trading card
– art cards with a design for all titles (8x)
– original soundtrack (CDx4)
This package release will be published on both Switch and PlayStation 5 with support for the English language while the release date is set for 26 June.
