Beholgar is a 2D side scrolling action game developed by by Serkan Bakar and originally released in digital form on PC in 2022 and between 2022 and 2023 on Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while a physical version appeared only on Switch and PlayStation 4.
The game is a classic style 2D action-adventure game and the player controls a warrior who returns home after a long absence and crush the ambitions of a dark wizard who wants to destroy the world.
By exploring caverns, ancient woods, caves and deadly castles and battling against various creatures the player can collect various weapons, tools, and abilities in order to solve ancient mysteries of the kingdom.
Cosen has announced a physical release for PlayStation 5 only and both regular and limited editions are planned.
The limited edition will include an original cardboard box, the original soundtrack on CD, an acrylic key-holder and a digital code for the art book.
Beholgar will be released in Japan and only for PlayStation 5 on 25 April 2024 with support for multi-languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish).
