Yesterday Spike Chunsoft has opened the official page for Baldur’s Gate 3, the RPG from Larian Studios Games that has been heavily praised by critics and consumers and have great chance to become the Game of the Year 2023.
Actually Baldur’s Gate is only available for PC, and of course it’s in digital form, while PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series are planned in the West to be released in September (PS5) and a little late (XBS), but all these release are in digital form.
According to the article published on Famitsu, Baldur’s Gate 3 in Japan will come for PlayStation 5 in both digital and retail form, making it the only market where a physical copy will be released.
Spike Chunsoft did not reveal so much regarding this version, neither if the English language is supported besides the Japanese one nor the release date, which has been set as a generic “2023 year”.
So as for now the only retail version planned to be released is the Japanese PlayStation 5, let’s see if in the incoming weeks Spike Chunsoft will confirm or not the support for English language.
