Akai Katana launches on 15 December

The horizontal shoot’em up from Cave was originally released for arcades in 2010 and then ported to Xbox 360 in 2011 will be released for both PlayStation 4 and Switch with a physical release planned for 15 December published by City Connection.

There are 3 different versions of the game included : Akai Katana, the original game, Shin Akai Katana with widescreen support and renewed systems and Akai Katana Climax, based on the original game but with balance adjustments.
Akai Katana is also multi-language, according to the official site the text on screen can be set in English, French and Spanish.

Aside the standard version there will also be a Limited Edition which includes the Arrange Soundtrack on CD and an arcade instruction card-style acrylic panel, while a themed clear file will be granted by pre-ordering the game.
