Sea of Stars announced retail in Japan

Sea of Stars is a RPG developed by Sabotage Studio released for all major platforms in digital form at the end of August 2023.

The game is a retro-styled RPG in 2D graphics inspired by some classic JRPGs such as Chrono Trigger, Breath of Fire and Illusion of Gaia.
The player controls two heroes, Valere and Zale, who use the power of the sun and moon to fight against an alchemist; the gameplay includes turn-based combats, some puzzle-solving elements, side quests and up to 6 characters can be controlled.

After its release, Sea of Stars have been praised for modernising and innovate the old JPRG formula of classics like Chrono Trigger and Golden Sun, the detailed visual style and environments.

Kakehashi Games has announced that they will publish the game in Japan and courtesy answering to our email, they confirmed that the retail version will support multi-languages as the digital version does (English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian).

Sea of Stars will be available in physical form for Switch from 7 December 2023.
The package includes the original soundtrack on CD and 2 sticker sheets; there will be also 3 art cards included as pre-order bonus.
