(N64) Puyo Puyo Sun 64

The 3rd installment in the series was originally released for arcades at the end of 1996; based on ST-V hardware it was ported to Saturn just a couple of months later while the Nintendo 64 port was published only after a year.
The gameplay is more similar to the first title and introduced a new kind of puyo, Sun Puyo, which appears when the player clears the screen and it’s used to send a lot of garbage to the opponent.
The game is similar to the other portings and the original arcade version and only lacks the animated intro due to cartridge limited space.
Puyo Puyo Sun was released only in Japan.
