(PCE) Pomping World

Known in North America as “Buster Bros” and in Europe as “Pang” it’s an arcade game released by Mitchell Corporation in 1989 and ported to PC Engine by Hudson in 1991.
The player has to save different cities (50 in total) in the world from some gigantic balloons; each stage has its own famous landmark and contain different layout of blocks. The player shoots a harpoon to the top of the screen, when a balloon is hitted it splits in two smaller ballons and so on until the fourth, which vanishes after being hit.
The PC Engine port is close to the original arcade version and thanks to the optical support shows animated videos with digital voices before each stage.
