(PCE) Side Arms Special

Horizontal shoot’em up originally developed by Capcom and ported to PC Engine by NEC in 1989, first on Hucard and then on CD.
The CD version has some improvements from the original version, a boss was added, the soundtrack being on optical support was similar to the original arcade one and a new “Before Christ” Mode was added : weapons can be changed only when picked up, a chargeable beam was added and when instead continuing aften been killed the player is sent back to the restart point.
Released only in Japan.
