(PS1) Battle Arena Toshinden

3D fighting game released a month after PS1 debut in Japan, it’s the first fighting game featuring a real 3D environment (the player can move the character sidestep by L and R buttons) and the first featuring based weapon characters in 3D.
The roster includes 8 characters plus other 2 unlockable during the game, each one with his own weapon, set of moves, special attack and a “desperation attack”, available only when the energy meter is 10% or less.
