(N64) Pilotwings 64

Published on Nintendo 64’s debut in Japan, it’s a simulation game where the player has to complete different missions using different airbone vehicles.
The game resumes the previous chapter’s gameplay, demanding to complete specified missions in order to earn licenses; the final score is based on how fast the mission was completed, damage suffered, fuel usage and accurancy of landing.
If Pilotwings on Super Famicom showed the potential of Mode 7, this version objective was to show the graphical and hardware features of Nintendo 64 and especially the functions of the new analogue stick.
A very good game which could have had more potential in sales if it was not released the same day of Super Mario 64.
