Mebius (publisher) and RS34 (developer) have revealed the release date of Illvelo Swamp Happy Together which was announced last year.
Illvelo is a vertical shoot’em up originaly released for arcades in 2008 and then ported to Wii.
In 2019 a new version called Illvelo Swamp was released, this time for Switch, but only in digital form, while for a package version we had to wait 2 year, the game was included into the “Illvelo Swamp + Radirgy Swag”.
Illvelo Swamp Happy Together introduces a new gameplay focused on both new players and veterans: there are 100 short levels that can be played by beginners in order to master the mechanic of the game while the advanced players can directly start to 20 long levels.
The game will be published exclusively on Switch and exclusively in Japan, the release date is set for 5 June 2025 and alongside the regular version, a limited edition that includes an art book and the original soundtrack on CD is also planned.
