G-Mook, a book publisher known among videogame fans for their catalogues dedicated to old consoles, has announced a new book, this time covering the Nintendo DS and with the supervision of Hiroyuki Maeda.
Nintendo DS was launched in 2004 and it’s remembered not only for its double screens but also because one of them had touch functions, a feature that Nintendo introduced as “Touch! Generations” and with the help of many titles like “Brain Training” series helped the videogame market to expand and becoming more popular even among people not used to play a videogame, allowing Nintendo DS to become the best selling console ever.
The catalogue covers all the various hardware revisions (Nintendo DS Lite and Nintendo DSi) and peripherals, but the most interesting part is surely the one dedicated to the software : all the 1,839 titles released in Japan are covered with info, pictures of the box and in-game screenshot while a special section is focused on games released in digital form as DSiware, 494 titles in total.
The Nintendo DS Perfect Catalogue is a 320 pages book with B5 size format and will be available in Japan from 30 October 2023, you can pre-order here.
